You may notice an off-duty Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Officer patrolling the neighborhood on occasion.   Last month the Board began coordinating these patrols and many arrests have already been made.  This has helped reduce vandalism and speeding in the community and serves as a great deterrent to would-be criminals.  The Board will continue to monitor the effectiveness of these patrols and continue to schedule as the budget allows.
